Quick Share is a convenient feature available on compatible Android, ChromeOS, and Windows devices that allows users to easily share content with nearby devices in just a few taps. Users can choose who can discover their device and send files, whether it’s everyone, contacts, or their own devices.

To use Quick Share:

  1. Find the content you want to share, such as a photo, link, or file, within an app.
  2. Tap the “Share” option.
  3. Select the “Quick Share” icon to see a list of nearby devices that are discoverable via Quick Share.
  4. Choose the device you want to send the content to, whether it’s another person’s device or one of your own devices linked to the same Google account.
  5. On the receiving device, prompts will appear allowing the user to accept or decline the content. If sending to your own device, the content will automatically transfer.

Quick Share provides a seamless way to share various types of content between Android devices, even when offline, enhancing collaboration and productivity across devices.
