Explicit Intent specifies the component. In such case, intent provides the external class to be invoked.

Intent i = new Intent(getApplicationContext(), ActivityTwo.class);
 startActivity(i);

 To get the full code of explicit intent, visit the next page

Activity_main.xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<LinearLayout  xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
    android:id="@+id/webView1"
    android:layout_width="fill_parent"
    android:layout_height="fill_parent"
    android:orientation="vertical"  >
    <Button
        android:layout_width="match_parent"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:id="@+id/bt1"
        android:text="Explicit Intent"/>
    </LinearLayout>

MainActivity.Java

package androiindians.first;

import android.app.Activity;
import android.content.Intent;
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.view.View;
import android.widget.Button;

public class MainActivity extends Activity {
    Button button;
    public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
        super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
        setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);

    button= (Button) findViewById(R.id.bt1);
        button.setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() {
            @Override
            public void onClick(View v) {
                Intent intent=new Intent(MainActivity.this,Second.class);
                startActivity(intent);
            }
        });
    }
}

After this we need to create New Activity:

Right click on Package name and select new and Activity and Empty activity their you can name same as what you gave Intent (here Second), then click OK.

activity_second.xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<android.support.constraint.ConstraintLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
    xmlns:app="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res-auto"
    xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
    android:layout_width="match_parent"
    android:layout_height="match_parent"
    tools:context="androiindians.first.Second">
</android.support.constraint.ConstraintLayout>

Second.Java

package androiindians.first;

import android.os.Bundle;
public class Second extends AppCompatActivity {
    @Override
    protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
        super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
        setContentView(R.layout.activity_second);
    }
}
